Overview How It Works
Controlite panels are durable, one-piece, twin-wall polycarbonate with integrated louvers called RotaBlades™. Panel size: 980 mm (w) x 30 mm (h) x up to 12000 mm (l).

RotaBlades have a flat opaque face and translucent half-cylinder body. They optimize light transmission when open and closed.

An external sensor detects the direction of the sun; internal sensors register the level of light inside the building. The intelligent system then balances light levels, solar heat, and shade to transmit uniformly diffused light and create a comfortable indoor environment. The user's control panel and controllers (wall mount) is used to set the angle of the RotaBlades or desired light levels.

Controlite's louvers continuously adjust their position to achieve the perfect balance of light - and comfort - as set by the user.

Controlite panels are built into an aluminum structural system available various configurations (sloped, ridged, vertical, custom). The durable materials withstand changes in temperature and weather conditions.

The system has two modes of operation:

Low angle of incidence (morning, afternoon, winter): The Controlite system sets the position of the RotaBlades to transmit the maximum amount of daylight.

High angle of incidence (noon): The opaque face of the RotaBlades reflect solar radiation to achieve the perfect balance of light and comfort, reduce heat gain, and save energy costs.
